Wishing you a very merry Christmas and a Better New Year!

Wishing you a very merry Christmas and a Better New Year!

Wishing you a very merry Christmas and a Better New Year!

This conversation actually took place in our studio while preparing for the festivities.

Mark sings: “It’s Christmas time and there’s no need to be afraid…”
Paul: “That’s not quite true is it?”
Mark: “Stop interrupting, I’m doing our Christmas message to all our friends and clients” (gestures to the imaginary audience)
Paul: “OK…Sorry!…who are you gesturing to?”
Mark: “I’m imagining our friends all here with us, sharing some time together before we all head to our respective homes and families for a well earned break. And anyway, what is there to be afraid about at Christmas?”

Paul: “Nothing” (mumbles to himself)

Mark: “What?…if you have something to say, just say it!”

Paul: “Well, driving in these conditions is pretty bad, some people are afraid of driving in the snow”

Mark frowns: “It’s not meant literally”

Paul: “OK, I’m just saying…”

Mark: You alway have to ‘just say’ don’t you! Haven’t you got something to be getting on with?”

Paul: “What like?”

Mark: “You were organising those costumes for the team photo…the old curtains and tea towel etc!”

Paul: “Don’t you think that’s a bit lame, it’s not like we’re doing the school nativity”

Mark shivers: “Don’t mention school nativity to me!”

Paul: “Why?…what were you?”

Mark: “The 4th Elephant!”

Simon: “OMG….I was one of the six wise men”

Paul: “There were only three wise men!”

Simon: “It was a big class”

Sam: “I was a sheep”

Ryan: “I was a donkey”

Peter: ” I was a shepherd”

Declan: “I was the King Tut”

Collectively: “WHAT!?!”

Declan: “Well…The teacher was creative with the story”

Ian: “I did the lights and sound”

Mark: “Playing with knobs and lights even then Ian? Anyway, we’ve no costumes, we can’t sing the song because it’s too ‘controversial’…..What do we do now?”

Paul: “Well, we could just wish everyone happy holidays and a prosperous New Year”

Mark sighs: “You just have. I give up”

On a serious note…

During the festive period the Better Studio will be closed from 12pm on Thursday 23rd December until Wednesday 6th January. If you do wish to contact a member of the team, we will be checking emails throughout the holiday and I am available on my mobile.

Have a fantastic festive break and we look forward to catching up in the new year.

From all the team at Better.
