Putting Teesside on the Map

Putting Teesside on the Map

You may have noticed us in the local news recently, bragging about ourselves. Jokes aside, we’ve had a pretty successful summer, meaning we’ve been able to expand the business, and take on new members of the team.

Our studio space at Plenary House on Queen’s Square is growing nicely, going from 1000sq ft to 1500sq ft, and we’ve created three new jobs to cope with a range of new projects, taking the team to 14.

Putting Teesside on the Map

This investment comes following our fantastic summer, as we secured new contracts with Casper Shipping, Endeavour Partnership, Baltic Training, MyFirmsApp, and OddsMonkey to carry out a range of brand, creative, web and digital marketing projects.

Demand for our unique BetterBrandBuilder – our bespoke business tool developed in-house and used by a number of companies around the North East to improve their brand communications – has grown significantly in the last year. Alongside this, our new digital marketing division, established at the start of 2016, is also experiencing rapid growth.

Since Better was founded in 2008, we’ve continued to grow, working with clients around the UK including PD Ports, the North East Chamber of Commerce, Northumbria University, Active Financial, Odyssey Systems, Faithful and Gould, Red House School, GrowthFunders and author of ‘The Other Boleyn Girl’, Philippa Gregory, to name a few.

“We’re operating in a very competitive marketplace at the moment but thanks to our reputation as one of the longest established creative agencies  and our established and unique BetterBrandBuilder process, we’re seeing demand grow for what we do.”

– Mark Easby, Managing Director

Because of this exponential growth, it now means that we can create new opportunities for local talent who want to break into this sector. We are massively committed to the retaining and developing of the best people in the region and nurturing a team that can support our growth and deliver impact for our clients.

It’s a really exciting time to be a growing business on Teesside, and in Middlesbrough in particular, which is seeing a real upturn with a host of new developments in the offing. At Better, we’re passionate about putting the region on the creative map and, thanks to our exceptional team and loyal clients, we believe we are now starting to compete with areas such as Leeds and Manchester.
