The recognition shines a light on our pioneering healthcare tool, Steady On Your Feet, which has been developed to prevent falls and promote healthy ageing. Leveraging our insight and digital expertise, the intuitive online hub includes a comprehensive suite of resources to empower both older adults and healthcare providers with self-care support.
At the forefront of our wider innovation offer, the platform-as-a-service (PAAS) product has been designed in close partnership with clinical professionals and established strategies, ensuring clinical relevance and efficacy. This alignment not only strengthens and unifies falls prevention efforts, but also contributes to substantial healthcare savings. With an ageing population and falls resulting in around 76,000 hip fractures annually, it’s a significant issue that costs the NHS and social care over £2 billion every year. As well as improving strategies, Steady on Your Feet promotes active and healthy living, making a positive impact on the well-being of communities throughout the UK.
Alongside acknowledging our role in bringing cutting-edge products to life, the shortlisting coincides with Steady On Your Feet’s rapid growth, with national roll-out across six regions in just over 12 months. Key healthcare and local authority partners include South Tees NHS Trust; Cheshire Integrated Care Board; Devon Integrated Care Board; North Northamptonshire Council; West Northamptonshire Council; Swindon Borough Council; Cambridgeshire County Council; and Peterborough City Council. During this time, the tailored platform has also forged commercial relationships with prominent falls prevention and healthy ageing organisations, such as Move it or Lose it and We Are Undefeatable. These collaborations have bolstered a specialist content library to support active living among the elderly.
