Metador needed to evolve. While their technical excellence and bold personality were well expressed, the brand hadn’t kept pace with growth or their bespoke offering. What was missing was a stronger articulation of their customer-first culture, and quiet innovation. Our brief was to build on the equity they already had — refining and expanding the brand to reflect Metador’s maturity, broaden its appeal, and elevate both perception and performance across every touchpoint.
Metador is a leading manufacturer of high-performance steel doors — expertly engineered for construction, healthcare, logistics, education and beyond. Since 2004, they’ve built a reputation for technical quality, reliable service, and custom-made solutions. As they celebrate their 20th anniversary and drive forward with plans to reach a £50 million turnover, the moment was right to reflect and review.

We also rebuilt Metador’s website from the ground up — creating a digital platform that mirrors the quality and custom nature of their products. Powered by a tailored WordPress CMS, the site now offers better usability, SEO performance and content control. A cleaner structure and refined UX support multiple user types — from contractors to specifiers. It now serves as a clear window into Metador’s world, and a real sales tool.
