The significant investment comes as CPD strengthens its position in the market, having recently been named in the prestigious Ward Hadaway North East Fastest 50 list for 2024. The Fastest 50 list celebrates the region’s most successful companies, ranking them by turnover growth over the past three years. CPD’s inclusion is a testament to its exceptional growth and innovative approach to delivering high-quality, custom-built light commercial vehicles (LCVs) that meet demanding customer needs.

The rebrand also clarifies and unifies their brand architecture, bringing VanDemand – the one-stop shop for LCV orders of any size and specification – more clearly under the CPD banner.

As the parent company, CPD centres around “Built to Deliver” – a unique Big Idea which sits at the core of the business and ensures that every vehicle is constructed to exacting standards. Developed through a collaborative process, the strategic foundations make sure quality, flexibility, and value is delivered to customers on time, every time. The new identity will also help CPD continue to scale and meet the increasing demands of its growing client base, positioning them as the leading choice for custom-built LCVs across the UK.

CPD - Brand Development - Before And After

Tom Pearson, Commercial Director at CPD, said: “The rebrand marks a significant step forward for us as a company, bringing CPD and VanDemand closer together, increasing brand awareness and establishing our position as a leader in delivering high-quality vehicles built for the real world.

“Better brought our vision to life, we’re now backed by a stronger and unified brand narrative and distinctive visual identity which reflects our unmatched quality and dedication to customers. Looking ahead, the evolution sets the foundations for further growth, including product development and broader market reach across the UK.”

Tom Pearson, Commercial Director at CPD

Paul Bell, Client Services Director at Better, added: “We’re proud to have been selected by Cathal and the team at CPD to help define their next chapter and new brand. The company’s incredible growth is a true testament to the hard work of the team and their unique offering. The new look and feel will reinforce their market position and allow their message of quality, flexibility, and exceptional delivery to resonate with an even bigger audience.”

With the new identity ready to launch, CPD is set to build on their success, ensuring they’re not only equipped for future growth but is also positioned to lead the market for years to come.
