Mark is our founder and MD. When he’s not out and about networking and building connections, Mark is behind the scenes managing the engine room. He’s also a very proud Teessider and Chairman of the High Tide Foundation.

Over the coming weeks we’re going to be #SpreadingCreativity through a variety of creative activities with different themes, all helping to spread positivity and spark imaginations during this tricky time. Each activity also provides the chance to win some creative treats, delivered right to your front door.

Activity #1 - Dare to dream

For our first activity we’re looking for children to delve deep into their imagination, get creative and draw their dream job. Think Emma saving lives and looking after people as a doctor, Sam scoring the winning goal in the FA Cup Final or Archie creating the world’s next best brand at Better! Whatever it is, the more colourful, detailed and imaginative the better.

For a chance of winning the brief is simple, download our PDF template and ask them to draw the most colourful and interesting picture of them doing their dream job.

What’s up for grabs?

We’re giving away a £50 Hobbycraft eVoucher each week for the most creative entry. You can spend it online on your choice of creative or crafty goodness, then get them delivered right to your door.

How do I enter?

Download and print our #SpreadingCreativity drawing template and give it to the kids to get creative. Don't worry if you don't have a printer, for this activity you can use your own paper to submit your entry.

Once the 'Dare to Dream' picture is ready simply share this with us @Better_Studio on Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #SpreadingCreativity. You can also post your entry on Facebook or LinkedIn. Make sure you tag Better and use #SpreadingCreativity.

Alternatively you can email your entry over to us at create@better.agency if you’d prefer.

Here’s the bit to tell the kids

Ever thought about what you want to do when you grow up? It might be something you love now and would love to do for the rest of your life. Or there could be someone you look up to and you’d like to step into their shoes.

If you’re sporty and full of energy you might want to be a footballer or a dancer. Perhaps you’re really caring and love animals - you could be a vet or work in a zoo! Or maybe you love star gazing and discovering the planets - an astronaut could be the dream job for you!

For a chance of winning the brief is simple, just draw the most colourful and interesting picture possible of you doing your dream job. Use your imagination, get creative and then give it to your adult for a chance to win.
